Nell 'uncertainty of the conditions we find ourselves with Andrea on the road to the val ... Febbraro the choice will prove to be excellent! Spring temperatures and beautiful skies tending to welcome us to Island, just around us.
Our goal is the Salto del Nido, a large and stout wall of blue ice, now in very good condition (no exposure, the other waterfalls of the valley -> S exposure Adrenaline ...). The track is good and fast walking (zero recent snow) we get to 'attack go over the beautiful waterfall with four pitches following a central line, very nice shot of the' out!
Some double up trees and running to eat by the lake!

Access:
Chiavenna, Val St. James Island. Take the road to Val Febbraro and park then walk follow the signs to the waterfall of the valley Febbraro. We enter the valley after some houses and you can see the ice wall at the top on the left, a steep slope between the trees to 'attack.
Ascent:
The waterfall has more or less vertical lines (Difficulty: 4 + / 5) but the 'output is required.
About 4 / 5 shots.
Descent:
on the right foot hydrographic and doubles on trees.
